You'll find all the comforts you long for--we pay attention to the details that make your stay memorable: freshly ironed bed linens, well-equipped baths, and immaculate rooms. we are very knowledgeable about our area and can help you discover places off the beaten track.
Former guests rave about our meals! We serve hearty, farm-style breakfasts and we can accommodate most special dietary needs. We use fresh, local, and organic foods in preparing our menus, whenever possible. And when we do use non-local items, we search out premium quality products, giving first preference to those with Atlantic Maritimes origins. Wolfhead Smokers
supplies us with their cold-smoked salmon; we think it's one of the finest small smokers in the Atlantic Maritimes!
The coffee we serve comes from PEI's own, Caledonia Coffee Roasters; from the Edmonton-based gourmet varietal roaster, Transcend Coffee
; and from the innovative Mid-Atlantic-based Keuka Lake Coffee Roasters. As for teas, we have more varieties of teas than you can sample in a weekend. Consider scheduling one of our Tea Tasting Sessions as part of your stay.
Additional meals may also be available, by prior arrangement. During May & June, lobster dinner packages are a special option. At other times of the year, we prepare fresh, local fish, beef, pork, or lamb entrees. Vegetarian meals are always available by request, and we can accommodate most restricted diets. Call or email us in advance to schedule a dinner during your stay with us. Be sure to check out our Special Packages
, as we offer unique culinary meals as part of these weekend deals.
Please note that we are a smoke-free establishment. And as we have a dog of our own in residence, we regret that we cannot accept pets. Since we may have working writers or artists in residence during your stay, we also ask potential clients with young children to consider the adult nature of our environment when deciding whether our guest house would be a suitable fit for your family.
